This year, the University of Michigan School for Environment and Sustainability (SEAS) is working to expand our reach and attract new and diverse prospective graduate students to our community of sustainability leaders and change agents. As part of that effort, we are now waiving the application fee for all qualified applicants to remove the financial barriers for students interested in exploring graduate school.
Do you know a talented student who is passionate about changing the world? Michigan SEAS is an ideal fit for students who are interested in working across disciplines to solve society’s most pressing environmental problems and create a more sustainable, just world.
Students interested in the possibility of graduate school should submit their information here. They can also explore the Michigan SEAS website at seas.umich.edu, or you can make direct referrals using a simple online form available at this link and the Michigan SEAS admissions team will follow up with your students individually over email. We are also happy to arrange group or individual visits for students wishing to experience our campus firsthand.
I am very interested in helping qualified candidates through the application process. I am proud to be part of a school that has achieved eminence in climate and energy, water, food systems, conservation and restoration, mobility, cities, and the built environment/urban ecology. Students serious about building a career in any of those areas should explore the graduate programs offered by Michigan SEAS.
I’d be grateful for your sharing this information with the students you see fit. Many thanks for your consideration. Please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincerely,
Kim Elliott
