Applications are open for the 11th annual Introduction to Diversity in Doctoral Education and Scholarship (IDDEAS@Wharton) which will take place April 18-19, 2024. This two-day program seeks to attract the best and brightest undergraduate students from varied backgrounds and experiences who bring new perspectives and introduce them to academic research at the doctoral level.

Are you considering a PhD and an academic career? IDDEAS@Wharton is a two-day program, April 18-19, 2024, introducing outstanding undergraduates to the field of business research and academia.
IDDEAS@Wharton will give participants an opportunity to experience what it means to be a PhD student and to enter a career as a professor at a business school, academic and/or researcher. IDDEAS@Wharton participants will take part in doctoral-level research exercises, take mini-master classes with Wharton faculty, connect with Wharton doctoral students, and much more.
The program is designed for undergraduate students who demonstrate a strong interest in math, statistics, economics, psychology/sociology, and/or engineering related disciplines and want to know more about PhD research degrees in business. We encourage all interested students to apply.
Now in its 11th year, IDDEAS Scholars have gone on to enter top business doctoral programs including Boston University, Cornell, Duke, Emory University, Harvard, INSEAD, NYU, Princeton, Purdue, Stanford, University of Arizona, University of Colorado, Boulder, UC San Diego, University of Michigan, University of Wisconsin, Madison, University of Pennsylvania, and Yale.
To enrich the field of business academia and research and to foster an inclusive community, the IDDEAS@Wharton program invites applicants from diverse backgrounds and perspectives. Attendance, travel and accommodations are free for participants.
