I am writing to let you know about several pre- and post-doctoral fellowship programs for the 2020-21 academic year that are administered by the NBER and that might be of interest to current students and recent graduates of your department.  I would be very grateful if you would share this information with any students who might be strong candidates.  The application deadline for all fellowships is December 9, 2019.  Fellowship awards are contingent on funding.  A brief summary of each of the fellowship opportunities is provided below.  Further details, and application directions, may be found online.

Questions about these fellowships may be directed to Elisa Pepe (epepe@nber.org).  Thank you for your help in calling attention to these opportunities.  All best wishes.

Jim Poterba
