We’re kicking off the recruitment process for the AESG’s 2024 summer internship. This Washington DC-based paid summer internship is a great chance for a talented student interested in learning more about economic policy careers to gain experience over the summer.
The intern will support a range of tasks at AESG, from working with our Program Associate on logistics and communications for our annual meeting to assisting our Policy Director on research relating to current economic policy debates. Great written and verbal communication skills, as well as attention to detail, are important. The candidate need not have specific technical skills or a research background in economics yet.
Importantly, the intern must be able to attend the AESG annual meeting in Aspen, Colorado from July 29-31, 2024.
Interested candidates should do the following:
-
Fill out the application on the Aspen Institute’s website here. Applicants should rank AESG as their first choice and indicate they were invited to apply.
-
Send a resume and cover letter to AESG Policy Director Luke Pardue (luke@econstrategygroup.com).
