Fall 2022 Careers in Finance Happy Hour
We are not complaining that we had two back to back happy hour events this semester!
We kicked off our first MESA event this semester with our Careers in Finance Panel at Faculty House. It was a very informative event for everyone looking to go into the industry, which was moderated by current MESA member Santiago Jose Olalquiaga ’22.
Fall 2022 Math Camp Happy Hour
We all need a break from studying real analysis sometimes!
Therefore, we all had a blast celebrating the end of math camp at our happy hour last week. Our first and second year students got to meet, network, and talk about the exciting opportunities the Columbia Economics MA has to offer.
We are looking forward to seeing all of our students at many more social and professional development events this upcoming semester!
Fall 2022 Pizza Party
Rainy weather doesn’t hinder our students from hanging out and eating some famous New York style pizza! We had a great time chatting with the first and second year students as they took a little time off from math camp. After today’s success, we are especially looking forward to many more fun events this semester!
Fall 2022 Math Camp Luncheon
We hosted a math camp luncheon to welcome all of our new students to our beautiful campus and department! Students got to meet fellow people in their cohort, while also sampling sandwiches from Milano’s, one of our favorite Morningside Heights delis. We are excited for many more fun social and professional development upcoming events this semester. Stay tuned!
