The Center on Japanese Economy and Business is accepting applications for the Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Scholarship Foundation for one year of undergraduate or graduate study at a Japanese university. While in principle priority is given to students interested in business or science, in practice, students can be from any field of study and, from this year, a command of Japanese is not required to apply for the scholarship.

Students who want to be selected as the Columbia nominee for the scholarship should submit the application form to the Center on Japanese Economy and Business (Attn: Michelle Tam) no later than Friday, February 23, 2018. The center will interview applicants in early March to determine a nominee. The results will be announced soon thereafter. Please note that the successful applicant will need to make separate application for admission to the Japanese university or college of his/her choice.

Information on the scholarship and application materials can be found hereor by contacting Michelle Tam at mt3025@columbia.edu.
