The Columbia Economics Society is holding an event on Thursday, April 8 at 1pm EST via Zoom titled “Doughnut Economics and the Future of Green Cities”.

This will be an information session and conversation with Carlota Sanz, the co-founder of the Doughnut Economics Lab. The Doughnut Economics model encompasses a number of factors in dynamic balance, including social equity, work and income, global warming, resource depletion, etc. This lab is getting a lot of attention among economists, policy-makers, and governments, and we know this information session will benefit students at Columbia immensely.
