Hayfin Capital Management, a leading global credit fund manager, is seeking a summer analyst to join its specialist healthcare team for Summer 2019. The role will be based in the firm’s Manhattan, NY office and run from late May to early August.

About Hayfin’s Specialist Healthcare Team
Hayfin’s specialist healthcare team is comprised of six investment professionals in New York and London with healthcare finance backgrounds. The team has a transatlantic focus and is responsible for evaluating investment opportunities across healthcare subsectors, including pharma, biotech, healthcare services & IT, medical devices, and diagnostics.
Summer Analyst Roles and Responsibilities
- Support the deal team’s due diligence process for live investment opportunities with business and financial analysis
- Create materials and investment memoranda to be shared with the internal Hayfin healthcare team and senior members of the firm’s investment committee
- Screen healthcare company databases and conference attendee lists to support the team’s deal sourcing effort and investment identification process
Qualifications
- Current sophomore (rising junior in Summer 2019) studying finance, healthcare management, economics, or a healthcare / life sciences discipline
- Min GPA of 3.5/4.0
- Prior coursework or experience in finance, accounting, and/or the healthcare industry a plus
