Chetty, Friedman and Hendren

On behalf of Raj Chetty (Stanford), John Friedman (Brown), and Nathaniel Hendren (Harvard), many thanks for your support in finding predoctoral fellow candidates to join the Equality of Opportunity Project team.

We are now looking to hire several graduating students to join our new quantitative policy team. We are writing to again request your help in identifying high-quality candidates who are passionate about translating data and research into policy that impacts people’s lives.

We are hiring for two roles:

· Analyst positions – Geared toward graduates from Bachelor’s degree programs in quantitative social sciences. Analysts will provide quantitative analysis and programming support to the policy team and work alongside our municipal and state partners as they make sense of our data insights in their local context.
· Associate positions – Targeting graduates with Master’s degrees and/or work experience in public policy (government, academic or nonprofit) or related disciplines. Associates will become first points of contact for our policy partners to translate our technical findings to support policy development.
Additional details and application instructions are available in the attached documents and are also available on our website. Positions are currently available in Palo Alto, CA; Providence, RI; and Cambridge, MA. At this time, we are accepting applications through March 15. Successful candidates will complete two interviews and an assigned performance task to evidence their skills.
