My name is Fiona and I am a senior in the MIT economics department. I am currently recruiting participants for a study to learn more about the way that people spend their time online, and how these activities impact their academic performance.

Students should sign up for the study with someone whom they do not talk to regularly. The two of them will be asked to spend some time talking to each other, watching videos online, answering survey questions, and/or taking a test. Each participant will receive an Amazon gift card of at least $12 and up to $25. All participants must be age 18-34, reside in the US, and have access to some form of video calling software.

To learn more or sign up for the study, individuals should create an account on the MIT Behavioral Research Lab’s website, and then sign up on the study listing (the listing will become visible to eligible participants once they log in). If anyone has difficulties with signing up or otherwise completing the study, they should reach out to me at fionac@mit.edu.
