The economics group at Wayfair is offering internships for PhD candidates (years 3+) pursuing their Economics PhDs or closely related degrees. We are a Fortune 500 e-retailer currently employing ~15 PhD economists from a variety of fields (causal, IO, time series) and schools (MIT, Harvard, Northwestern, UCSD, Brown, etc). Our work is focused on applying the latest econometric techniques to real-world business problems at scale, and could be a great fit for graduates interested in tech economics and data science.
We are offering two virtual info sessions to give an introduction to the team, describe the internship, and answer questions from interested students. Please fill out attendance ahead of time, so we can plan accordingly and offer more sessions if needed.
