The Economics Department is thrilled to announce that our College Fed Challenge Team achieved a remarkable feat by securing a place among the six national finalists out of a total of 107 participating schools in this year’s competition. These six national finalists were Columbia University, Harvard University, Princeton University, University of Chicago, UCLA, and University of North Carolina Wilmington. This accomplishment reflects the dedication, hard work, and exceptional talent of our team members who tirelessly researched, analyzed, and presented their insights on the U.S. economy and monetary policy. Their success underscores the strength of our academic programs, and the commitment of our students to excel in the field of economics and finance. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the entire Fed Challenge Team for this outstanding achievement! It showcases not only their expertise, but also the caliber of our institution on a national stage.
