Dissertation Fellowship Program

Dissertation Fellowships support doctoral candidates studying retirement or disability policy.
Up to three fellowships of $28,000 will be awarded.

Sandell Grant Program

Sandell Grants provide the opportunity for junior or non-tenured scholars to pursue research on retirement or disability policy.
Up to three grants of $45,000 will be awarded for one-year projects.
The application deadline for both programs is January 31, 2022.

Individuals from historically underserved or underrepresented communities are encouraged to apply.

The Dissertation Fellowships and Sandell Grants are funded by the U.S. Social Security Administration.
