The Actuarial Club is holding an Actuarial Symposium for interested undergraduate/graduate mathematics, statistics, and economics majors to learn about the profession and the industry. The date and time is set for March 25th, 5:00pm at Lerner Roone Arledge Cinema.

Actuarial Science is a field where you can apply the knowledge you gained in your classes to quantify risk through data analysis and statistical modeling and help businesses remain solvent and profitable. The scope of this field spans many industries, so our club is hosting a symposium on March 25th, 2024 at 5:00pm at Lerner Roone Arledge Cinema to give you and your peers an overview of the many things that actuaries do. It will span 50 minutes with brief summaries of the different actuarial sub-fields by qualified industry professionals and a Q&A session afterwards.
