This year, the Columbia Seminar on Defense and Security (CSDS) will host a year-long discussion on Edges in National Security & Technology. We invite you to join us.

Our first speaker will be Charles E. Berger, FBI, on Tuesday, September 25th, from 1-2pm, at the Saltzman Institute, IAB 1302.Mr. Berger leads counterterrorism investigations as Assistant Special Agent-in-Charge of the FBI’s New York Field Office.

Looking ahead, we hope that you will also mark your calendars for October 16th with Max Boot, Council on Foreign Relations; and October 30th with Dan Keyserling, Google [same location & timing: Saltzman Institute, IAB 1302, 1-2pm].

To facilitate discussion, we limit attendance to 30 people per session. Therefore, please RSVP in advance to the seminar’s rapporteur, Geneva Matthews, by emailing defensesecurity@columbia.edu. Upon receipt, Ms. Matthews will send our (optional) read-ahead materials.
