For a joint project with Charles Angelucci (MIT Sloan) and Elliott Ash (ETH Zurich), we are looking for a research assistant to help process historical text data and train and apply text models.
Our project studies the nationalization and polarization of local politics in the US in a historical context.
Previous experience with text data processing in Python is required.
The student will work 10-20 hours per week and be paid $22/hour.
