Job Description
The Ira M. Millstein Center for Global Markets & Corporate Ownership seeks part-time research assistants for a weekly time commitment of 10-15 hours during the fall semester. Research assistants will provide support on the Millstein Center’s research projects supporting its “Future of the Corporation” research initiative, which focuses on the changing nature of the capital markets and corporate ownership. Undergraduate research assistants will work under the guidance of Millstein Center faculty co-directors Professors Eric Talley, Jeffrey Gordon and Zohar Goshen and the supervision of law school research assistants on projects that will be used by leading researchers in law, economics and finance. Undergraduate research assistants who excel in the role will have the opportunity to continue to work on other key research projects for the Millstein Center following the end of the semester.
Job Requirements
Ideal candidates will possess enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and an excellent eye for detail. A desire to learn more about corporate governance and/or the areas of law and economics or law and finance are also a big plus.
