Professor Carri Chan from the Columbia Business School is seeking a Research Assistant to help conduct statistical analysis using Medicare data. Get involved in a research project with a team of two Columbia Business School professors and researchers from other institutions. The RA will be responsible for helping with processing and reformatting the data and conducting statistical analyses such as regressions.
Qualified candidates should have skills in STATA software and an understanding of econometrics or statistics. The hourly rate will be $20/hour with an expectation of approximately 10 to 15 hours of work/week, starting April 2024. The ideal candidate will be able to also work during the Fall 2024 semester. Due to data access restrictions, the candidate must be US-based. There is potential for more opportunities to get involved if the candidate works well with the research team and is interested.
