We are pleased to announce that applications are now open for the 2025 Fund Internship Program (FIP) – Economists (Workday posting link). As part of the broader outreach during recruitment missions, IMF HR has been promoting internship opportunities across university campuses with strong Econ PhD programs in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA+ and ASEAN countries. Graduate students of economics who attended Fund’s information sessions have expressed a keen interest in our internship opportunities.
The Fund Internship Program has an important institutional impact, and many Fund interns become strong applicants for the Economist Program, a flagship recruitment program that kick-starts young economist careers. We welcome applications from PhD students in macroeconomics or a related field, with an excellent command of written and oral English, and strong analytical, quantitative and computer skills. The application window runs until January 5, 2025, and only applications submitted through this advert will be considered.
