Master of Arts in Economics
The Master of Arts program in the Department of Economics at Columbia University is designed for students who wish to prepare themselves for careers in the field of economics or improve their knowledge of economic theory and its applications. Our M.A. program emphasizes a technical and rigorous approach to the study of economic theory. As such, applicants will be evaluated on the quality and breadth of their undergraduate preparation for the study of economics at the graduate level.
