The Columbia Economic Review (CER) – an undergraduate journal sponsored by the Program for Economic Research at Columbia University – is inviting undergraduates and recent graduates (class of 2024) to submit their independent work. We welcome seminar papers, research papers and/or theses from all areas of economics. Founded in 2009, the Columbia Economic Review is the oldest undergraduate economics journal in the U.S. CER strives to promote discourse and research at the intersection of economics, business, politics, and society.

For consideration in the Fall 2024 issue, please email your paper to columbiaeconreview1754@gmail.com by October 24 along with your full name, contact information and a short academic bio. Please note we will review submissions as soon as possible then move forward in the editing process for designated papers. CER may also reach out for datasets and code for replication purposes.

Submission guidelines can be found here.Prior issues of the journal can be found on our website.
