Students interested in writing a senior thesis in economics in the academic year 2026 – 27 should attend the upcoming information session on April 21 (details below including a link to RSVP). Profs Edlund and Elmes will be on hand to present general information regarding the honors seminar and to answer questions. Several current thesis writers will also be there to share their experiences writing a thesis.
Students considering writing theses in later years are also encouraged to attend as much of the advice will also apply to students considering a thesis in future years. If you are a senior interested in writing a thesis and cannot attend then you should send a friend to take notes and read the information posted in the Senior Honors Thesis section on the Honors and Prizes page on the department website.
