Dear All,

The Program for Economic Research (PER), the Office of AI Initiatives and Support (ISERP), and the Provost’s Office will be hosting Avi Goldfarb for a day-long series of events focused on AI. Our public-facing talk, “The Disruptive Economics of Artificial Intelligence,” will take place on Wednesday, March 25, from 11:45am–1:00pm, and registration is now open!

Professor Goldfarb is the Rotman Chair in Artificial Intelligence and Healthcare and Professor of Marketing at the University of Toronto. His recent books include Prediction Machines: The Simple Economics of Artificial Intelligence and Power and Prediction: The Disruptive Economics of Artificial Intelligence, the latter of which will inspire his talk. He also serves as Chief Data Scientist at the Creative Destruction Lab and as a research lead at the Acceleration Consortium.

Join us for what is sure to be an engaging discussion – light refreshments will be served. Please RSVP below to secure your seat.
