We hope your day is going well. We are pleased to share an upcoming opportunity for PhD students and junior faculty: the 2026 Modeling Climate-Economic Dynamics Workshop for Young Scholars, which will be held from May 27-29, 2026, at the University of Chicago.
This three-day workshop is designed to nurture emerging scholars interested in credible modeling of climate-economic systems that can address policy challenges. Sessions will feature contributions from experts in economics and geophysics, offering perspectives on credible model inputs and sources of uncertainty. In addition to lectures and discussions, the program will include poster sessions for advanced PhD students and junior faculty.
We would greatly appreciate your help in sharing this opportunity with your current PhD students and junior faculty. Our aim is to connect with promising scholars actively engaged in relevant research. Please note that, at this time, first- and second-year PhD students are not eligible to apply.
The application portal is now open, and the deadline to submit all materials is Sunday, February 1, 2026. Accepted participants will be notified by end of February 2026. For more details and to access the application, please visit the following link:
