My name is Jake Weber, and I’m an economist at the New York Fed. Keshav Dogra (CC’ed) and I are organizing a workshop for junior researchers in macroeconomics, and we are currently soliciting applications from Economics PhD students: could you help us by circulating the NY Fed Junior Macro Workshop Call for Abstracts 2025 to the appropriate contact person and/or mailing list at your institution?

Details: this is a one-day, in-person workshop for junior researchers in macroeconomics to be held at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York on Friday, September 27th 2024. The workshop will feature a morning session with PhD student presenters followed by an afternoon session with junior faculty presenting. The goal is to provide an informal setting for both current PhD students and recent PhD graduates to receive feedback from each other and Bank economists. Lunch and refreshments will be provided; travel funding is not available. The submission deadline is August 25th.  This workshop is sponsored by the Applied Macroeconomics and Econometrics Center (AMEC) at the New York Fed.

Thanks very much for your time, and please let me know if you need anything further. Have a great weekend!
