In the year of its 100th anniversary, Banco de México is pleased to announce the 6th Biennial Conference on Financial Stability to be held in Mexico City on November 18th-19th, 2025. We seek to attract theoretical and empirical research, that addresses issues related to central banking theory and practice, the safeguarding of financial stability, monetary policy making and communication and the effectiveness of macroprudential policies. Submissions from junior researchers are welcomed. The submission deadline is August 18, 2025.
The objective of this Conference-Call for Papers is to convene academics, practitioners and policymakers to assess the progress made by central banks in designing and implementing policies aimed at strengthening the financial system´s resilience in both emerging and advanced economies.
- Selected papers will be considered for publication in a special issue of the Financial Markets, Institutions and Instruments (FMII) journal
