The European Central Bank published a call for papers for its Young Economist Prize 2025. This is an annual research competition that offers talented students the chance to share their fresh perspectives on today’s challenges.
Selected applicants will be invited to present their research to top policymakers and academics at the ECB Forum on Central Banking in Sintra (Portugal) from June 30 to July 2, 2025. The winner of the Young Economist Prize will be awarded with €10,000.
This prize is an opportunity for young researchers to contribute to the future of Europe with their innovative research and for universities to enhance their international reputation, as selected finalists become ambassadors representing their respective academic institutions at the ECB’s flagship conference in Sintra.
The call for papers can be found here. The deadline for applications is February 12. We welcome applicants irrespective of their nationality and gender. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any further questions.
