The CPI is hiring!! We’re recruiting two quantitatively-skilled predocs, one to join our Voices Lab, and another to join our California Lab. The predoc for the Voices Lab will work with the American Voices Project (AVP) data to help us (a) carry out research, (b) build a state-of-the-art platform for data analysis, and (c) build the second-generation AVP (slated to go into the field in 2026). The predoc for the California Lab will help us (a) build a new 21st century poverty measure based on administrative data, and (b) evaluate California’s innovative cash-transfer programs.

In the past, our predocs have ended up in the country’s best graduate programs, while hanging out with an amazing (and fun!) team of scholars.
