Professional Committee Workshop
On Wednesday’s evening, April 24th, the MESA professional committee held the second workshop of the semester, attentively designed for program students seeking a career in finance.
Our guest speaker, Liu, is an investment banking analyst based in New York and has notable deal exposures of sell-side acquisitions in diversified sectors. During the one hour and fifteen minutes workshop, Liu shared his past experience in the investment banking and hedge fund industry as well as offering technical instructions for students on how to prepare for cover letters, resumes, networking sessions, etc. At the end of our workshop, MESA professional committee arranged a mock interview session for the interested attendees, a great opportunity for polishing students’ interview skills and comprehending job-hunting practices.
