Data Science for Social Good Fellowship: Application Deadline Jan 31
The deadline is Jan 31 and more information is available at our website.
More Details:
The Data Science for Social Good Summer Fellowship is a University of Chicago summer program that is focused on training aspiring data scientists to work on data science, machine learning, big data and analytics projects with social impact. This summer, we are expanding and running two programs in the UK – one run with University of Warwick and Alan Turing Institute, and the second one with Imperial College London. Both are open to students from any country (and not just the UK).
We look for a mix of (typically) grad students (and advanced undergrads) from Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Math, Physics, Economics, Sociology, Political Science, and Public Policy; and create teams that spend 12 weeks over the summer working in partnership with a non-profit or government organization on projects related to education, health, sustainability, community & economic development, disaster relief, crime, social services, social justice, and more.
