Financing Your Degree
The M.A. program requires course enrollment in three semesters. Students register for a Residence Unit in their first and second semesters, and an Extended Residence Unit in the third semester. The current rates for tuition per Unit can be found on the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences Cost of Attendance page.
Most M.A. students use a combination of external scholarships and grants, sponsors, savings, or loans to cover the cost of attendance. To learn more about scholarship opportunities afforded to prospective applicants please visit our Prospective Student Scholarships page.
We encourage you to research potential financial resources early in the decision-making process to apply. Scholarship applications are often taken a year before the date they are awarded.
