I am pleased to share that a Call for Applications to attend the Financial Literacy Research Boot Camp—taking place in June 2025—has just been issued. The event is co-organized by Stanford University’s Initiative for Financial Decision-Making (IFDM) and the G53 Financial Literacy and Personal Finance Research Network.  I serve as the director of the IFDM and am co-founder and co-chair of the G53 Network.

The boot camp is particularly well-suited for those interested in financial decision-making, financial literacy, financial education, household finance, and applied econometrics.

Below are key details which are elaborated upon in the attachment.

  • Dates: June 23–27, 2025 (welcome dinner on June 22, 2025)
  • Location: Stanford University
  • Application Deadline: April 7, 2025
  • Cost: The boot camp is free for participants, and reasonable travel costs will be covered.

Our inaugural boot camp, held in 2023, received high praise in the exit survey. This year, we are expanding the program by extending it to five days, increasing participant capacity, and incorporating valuable feedback from our 2023 cohort.

Thank you for your support in helping recruit applicants for the boot camp.
