What is research credit?

Research credit is given to a student that works on an ongoing faculty member’s research project. Faculty members occasionally need assistants to do research and data work on projects that are developed by the faculty member. Information regarding faculty in need of research assistants can be found on the bulletin boards in the economics department and the Research Opportunities page, is distributed on the major list serve and is posted on the department at https://econ.columbia.edu/undergraduate/opportunities/
