Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs has a Work-Study position available starting in September 2020.

$15/Hour

Must be WORK-STUDY ELIGIBLE and able to work 10-15 hours per week.

POSITION WILL BE VIRTUAL BUT APPLICANT MUST BE IN NYC, AS SOME PROJECTS MAY NEED TO BE HANDLED ON SITE.

Description: The MPA in Economic Policy Management is seeking an Assistant to help with office administration, such as database management, event assistance, website maintenance and several admissions-oriented tasks.

Requirements: Prospective applicants should have an attention to detail; ability to learn on the job; and discretion with confidential information. This is a great learning opportunity. Ideal applicants will also possess the following skills and traits:

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented AND the ability to work independently and to take ownership of assigned projects and tasks. Knowledge of economics is a plus.
