The Weiss Fund provides support, typically in the form of grants, for faculty and PhD students doing fieldwork in developing countries.

These grants are administered at Columbia through ISERP for students and faculty in economics, political science and SIPA. There is an internal and an external deadline.

If you plan to submit an application, you need to do two things:
1.) The internal deadline for Columbia/ISERP is October 22nd. You can reach out to iserp-funding@columbia.edu to discuss your proposal.
2.) The external deadline is October 31st. See also the message and link below.

If you have any additional questions, please email Kiki (eleches@gmail.com)
