RESEARCH/PUBLISHING OPPORTUNITY
Retired professor working on a book dealing with British economic history, specifically technological diffusion, is seeking a Research Assistant to do some statistical and/or econometric analysis. The book is the companion volume of another book published on the same subject a couple of years ago by a major academic publisher. The assignment is anticipated to take a limited amount of time and hence it is not going to be a major burden to the student’s schedule.
The work is not paid but it offers a publishing opportunity. The student will be called to write an appendix about the methodology and results of the analysis which will bear his/her name. The author will use the results in the main text of the relevant chapter.
Preference will be given to those with the most advanced coursework in statistics and econometrics.
