The American Enterprise Institute’s Summer Honors Program is an intensive, fully-funded educational and professional development opportunity in Washington, DC, for top undergraduate students. The program gathers students from diverse ideological backgrounds for substantive dialogue and debate about the most pressing issues facing the country and world. The core feature of the program is discussion-based seminars that offer participants forums to delve deeply into policy areas of their choice. Outside of the seminars, students participate in policy briefings with distinguished guests, high-level networking opportunities, and site visits in Washington.

The Summer Honors Program provides current undergraduates and recent graduates (winter 2019 or later) with the unparalleled opportunity to learn from nationally-recognized scholars and practitioners, and alongside a talented and ideologically diverse cohort from around the country. Covering a range of topics, from economics, conflict studies, political theory, and law, the Summer Honors Program leaves participants with, in the words of a recent alum of the program, “…an exciting, intellectually engaging transition from college to the professional world.”

The deadline to apply is February 24, 2020.
