We are the organizers behind the COVID-19 Policy Hackathon, a challenge created by economics students from both Stanford and MIT. We would love to hear your ideas about how to manage the policy aspects of this global pandemic.

Here’s a bit about the hackathon:

The COVID-19 Policy Hackathon is aimed to help tackle the pressing policy issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. This competition, open to all, is intended to provide a platform for individuals to contribute innovative policy proposals during the unprecedented coronavirus crisis.

We believe that a time-crunched hackathon promotes creativity, especially in this time of need when innovative solutions are required to abate this global crisis. For each country, different strategic issues have arisen. Our prompts focus in categories of policies relating to public health, firms and workers, trade and immigration, and financial policy.

A flyer for the event can be found online.
