Currently looking for RAs to join the team on a very special book project– a manuscript that is part theory, part personal narrative of a prominent Indian entrepreneur wishing to write on the topics of income inequality, entrepreneurial philosophy and social advocacy. The topic is broad, so we are looking for people with experience and background in any of the following fields: economics, sociology, history, theology and philosophy. RAs will primarily be tasked with deep-dive research on specialized sub-topics, as well as draft-editing. We want to have debates/conversations with you too about the ideas of the book!
Position is part-time (up to 10-15 hours per week maximum) and pay is competitive (up to $30 per hour– we are trying to hire the best!). Looking for candidates with strong research and writing skills, demonstrated academic rigor and enthusiasm about the project and its ideas.
Please email cg2793@columbia.edu with a RESUME and a WRITING SAMPLE (academic papers/thesis excerpts work fine) if interested and I will send you an outline of the book proposal and move forward from there.
