Given the suspension of classes, I will not be holding an information session for students interested in writing a senior thesis during the 2020-21 academic year. Linked below are two documents:

1) The notes that I would have used in the information session to talk about writing about a senior thesis in economics can be found here: 2020 Honors Seminar Information Session. I have lightly edited these to reflect the current situation (i.e., that meetings would have to be virtual this semester). These notes are not normally distributed so please forgive any typos and general lack of punctuation and good grammar.

2) The Preliminary Thesis Proposal Form is linked here: Preliminary Application form for senior thesis. If you are considering writing a thesis next year then I strongly urge you to submit this form. It is due on May 1. The preliminary form is a way to give you feedback on the questions that you are considering for your thesis. That feedback will provides some guidance for the summer and help you write your formal proposal (which is due Aug. 21).
