Title: NLP/Machine learning project — RA needed ASAP!

Brief project description: This project concerns the prediction of individuals’ values from language using Natural language processing/Machine learning (NLP/ML) models. We are looking for undergraduates or master students who can code in Python and have experience with NLP/ML and basic data science. You will work primarily under the supervision of a PhD student in Columbia Business School. The work would start ASAP and will pay $20 an hour. Work study students are very much welcome. We prefer applicants who can work at least 10 hours for approximately 1-2 months.

Required technical skills: Strong programming skills in Python. We are seeking students that have prior exposure to NLP and/or ML either through a course and/or research project. Ideal candidate would have prior working experiences with topic models and word embeddings.

Time commitment/project duration: Minimum 10 hours/week.

This is a paid position.
