Who is Attending?
The event is FREE by invitation only for 1,000+ university students from the area who registered after receiving an invitation from their universities.
What will they talk about?
The Nobel Laureates will answer the questions the students have. They will discuss a variety of topics all informed by the questions the attending students are asked to supply during the registration process.
What are some topics they discussed as similar past events?
During the two previous events students asked questions on a variety of topics including artificial intelligence and the impact of the economy, job security, world politics, education and environmental issues and how all these will change in the future and impact them.
Why is UBS doing this event?
The Nobel Perspectives Live event takes the UBS Nobel Perspectives content program from a digital platform (ubs.com/nobel) into a live experience. UBS has demonstrated a commitment to rigorous, in-depth analysis in a time of hashtag economics. Celebrating Nobel Laureates who challenged convention stresses a key UBS behavior. And involving students is a clear signal of our support for education.
When and where is the event happening?
The event will take place on Tuesday April 24, 2018 from 12:30pm – 2:00pm (Times are approximate and may change slightly) in Brooklyn, NY at the Duggal Greenhouse.
