The Center on Japanese Economy and Business will once again nominate a Columbia student for the Mitsubishi UFJ Trust Scholarship Foundation for one year of undergraduate or graduate study at a Japanese university. This year’s scholarship is for applicants who are interested in studying in Japan for the academic year 2022-2023.

Please note that a command of Japanese is not required to apply for the scholarship.

Students who want to be selected as the Columbia nominee for the scholarship should submit the application form to the Center on Japanese Economy and Business (Attn.: JP Perez) no later than Thursday, March 31, 2022. Applicants will be interviewed in early April to determine a nominee. The results will be announced soon thereafter, and time will be given for the student to seek approval from their Dean.
