Funded by the National Science Foundation and Burroughs Wellcome fund, JYI is an international, peer-reviewed journal that is managed entirely by and for undergraduate students from across the world. With JYI, undergraduates may submit research, review research, and conduct science journalism.

We invite students from diverse backgrounds ranging from the social sciences to the physical sciences and engineering to apply to our editorial staff. We also have opportunities on our corporate board for students interested in the management of non-profit organizations.
