US AND GLOBAL FORECASTING TEAM
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior economists in analyzing daily economic releases
- Build econometric models and communicate the methodology to clients
- Collect, analyze and forecast economic data and communicate the results to clients
- Implement simulations of alternative scenarios using the firm’s proprietary macro model
- Work on the regional, national and/or global level of the economy
Qualifications
- 0‐2 years of relevant full‐time work of experience, including relevant internships
- Extensive coursework on Econometrics, Macroeconomics and International Economics
- Experience with statistical packages (Eviews, Stata, etc.) or programming languages (Python, R, etc.)
- Thorough understanding of economic principles, and ability to apply these principles to analyzing and solving problems
- Attention to detail, good problem‐solving skills and teamwork
- Excellent oral communication, writing skills, and ability to prepare ‘client ready’ presentations
- Ability to work under strict deadlines and on multiple projects concurrently with limited supervision
- Passionate about Economics and Research
Education
- Undergraduate seniors, 2nd year master’s students and recent graduates Economics or Finance is the preferred field of study.
- Students of other quantitative disciplines with coursework on economics and finance are welcome to apply
CONSULTING TEAM
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze economic issues and forecasting trends in various sectors of the economy including finance, construction, energy, government, transportation, IT/telecom and tourism
- Evaluate trends in key market segments, analyze forces of change, and identify risk and success factors to enable clients to maximize return on sales and marketing investments
- Develop models and produce credible and accurate forecasts for specific product lines or business units and develop market segmentation estimates
- Implement global scenario analysis for clients
- Take on custom projects for clients
Qualifications
- 0‐2 years of relevant full‐time work of experience, including relevant internships
- Extensive coursework on Econometrics, Macroeconomics and International Economics
