The call for applications to the Thomas J. Sargent Dissertation Fellowship program is now available online.
The summer fellowship offers individuals at the dissertation writing stage an opportunity to interact with economists and visiting faculty from nearby institutions, make progress in writing their dissertation, and increase their exposure to scholarly research. Fellows will participate in department research activities, such as seminars and brown bags, as well as discuss and advance current research projects with feedback from department economists, and support from department computing and data resources. The fellowship carries a stipend.
Candidates are sought in the fields of macroeconomics (broadly defined), financial economics, and labor economics.
The deadline for application is March 15, 2019.
