What Do We Do?
The Fiscal Challenge is a national collegiate competition that enables students to explore fiscal policy. Register as a team to create and present an original plan to stabilize the U.S. federal debt-to-GDP ratio.
How Do Students Benefit?
The top four teams win the chance to present and defend their ideas in Washington, D.C. before a panel of judges from top think tanks and policy institutes such as AEI, Brookings, Center for American Progress, CFRB, Urban Institute, Third Way, Hoover, Bipartisan Policy Center, and CBBP, among others. You’ll have the benefit of networking with our think tank partners, accessing potential job opportunities, receiving national recognition, and competing with students from top universities.
