2019 BITSS Annual Meeting – Call for Papers
The Berkeley Initiative for Transparency in the Social Sciences (BITSS) invites researchers from across the social sciences to submit papers to be presented at the 2019 BITSS Annual Meeting on December 11 in Berkeley, CA. Papers or long abstracts must be submitted by Sunday, October 20 (11:59 PM Pacific Time).
Topics for papers may include, but are not limited to:
- Pre-registration and the use of pre-analysis plans;
- Disclosure and transparent reporting;
- Replicability and reproducibility;
- Data sharing;
- Methods for detecting and reducing publication bias or data mining;
- Meta-analysis;
- Assessment of the validity or reproducibility of literature.
Some travel support is available for presenters. Eligible submissions include both completed papers and work in progress. Please contact Snr. Program Associate Aleks Bogdanoski (abogdanoski@berkeley.edu) with any questions.
