The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is pleased to announce that applications for the 2023-24 cohort of Lead Teaching Fellows (LTFs) are being accepted now through Monday, April 3 on the CTL website.

The LTF program is a professional development opportunity for doctoral students who are committed to promoting pedagogical practices and conversations among their peers. LTFs participate in a series of meetings at the CTL, organize teaching-related workshops and events in their home departments, and act as liaisons between the CTL and their peers. LTFs receive a $2,000 stipend for the academic year.

Details about the program and the 2023-24 LTF application are available here. Applicants must be in years 2-7 of their doctoral program in Fall 2023 and in good academic standing. We especially encourage PhD candidates who are committed to drawing on diverse perspectives and experiences to apply. Please contact the CTL Graduate Student Programs and Services team at CTLgrads@columbia.edu with any questions about the program.
