Sunil Gulati Leads the Way for U.S. Soccer

Senior Lecturer Sunil Gulati is the President of the U.S. Soccer Federation, which oversees soccer at all levels across the country.  He was also recently elected to the FIFA executive committee.  He has masterfully combined his interests in economics and soccer, including using cost-benefit analysis for his soccer-related work and teaching a popular sports economics seminar at Columbia.   With the upcoming World Cup, the Department looks forward  to seeing Sunil Gulati’s efforts pay off  for the U.S. Team!
